    Tony Duggan 1954-2012

Tony Duggan has died at the age of 58.

Readers of Tony's reviews, particularly his in-depth comparative reviews of recordings of Mahler symphonies on musicweb, will know what a loss his death is.

A largely unsung hero perhaps, he will be missed by his readers. His legacy on musicweb is a great tribute.

This is sad news and much, much too young to be departing at only 58. Wasn't he an occasional contributor to this forum and its BBC predecessor?

I'd quite forgotten that, Petrushka but I do believe that you're right

I think he had 'Dugganaudio' as his moniker and as it isn't listed on the members roll on here it must have been on the old BBC boards.
