    Yes, but I must say, he has good taste, Caliban...they were both rather lovely.

      I don’t watch TV these days but I saw NS once years ago on a TV programme. He was really no good. I still have his Guardian articles (they are no mere recipes) from 1997 when he was un-bespectacled and smooth-faces. Almost in shorts. He is definitely a writer and not a performer.
