We would have been in for some other structural surprises (similar to those in 9, like voices) in 10 too, as Dr.Cooper well illustrated in his artist's impression of the first mvt, based on these sketches as well as testimonies of Beethoven's friends (not Schindler !) about what the composer played for them (especially his amanuensis Karl Holz).
AFAIK there are at least 4 recordings of this Cooper piece based on Beethoven's sketches for 10.
