    BWV 540 - favourite performances

Do other boarders have favourite recorded performances of this piece?
Despite the thirties sound the Thalben-Ball recording http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3VkOxnNc7ic, particularly appeals to me, partly because of Sir George's nimble footwork - no mean feat (feet?) in this Toccata but also his rhythmic command.

for some reason I can't get any sound with that video
an exhausting Toccata to play, I remember, though the (grand) fugue is more relaxing
I think I've got Rogg on an LP playing it

Ha Mercia - I have Rogg on two LPs! (Oryx BACH 1005 and a later Harmonia Mundi set). And Nicholas Kynaston and Heinz Wunderlich on other LPs. Plus Walcha on CD. But I'm amazed I don't have any more modern CD performance such as Bowyer.
I keep hitting the Escape key, but I'm still here!
