Wilhelm Backhaus playing Brahms and Haydn

I have a newly reissued recording on Hänssler Profil PH 11051 that feature the two Brahms piano concertos with the Vienna Philharmonic conducted Karl Böhm and Carl Schuricht. The set also includes live accounts of Haydn’s Andante con Variazioni in F minor (XVII No. 6); Fantasia in C major (XVII No. 4) and Sonata No. 52 in E flat major. The release gives the date of 1959 and the Vienna Festival as the venue for the three live Haydn recordings for solo piano. I did wonder if they were actually the same recordings that Backhaus made in 1957 at the Victoria Hall, Geneva.

Backhaus was recorded "Live" playing these exact works, but the Discography says this was at the Lugano Festival in May 1960!
