        I have hardly any of the award winning CD's of the past 15 years and certainly none of this years, nor am I likely to purchase any of this years with the possible exception of the Elgar.

          I only have the CONTEMPORARY Birtwistle disc and while 'awards' normally bring me out in a rash, I do have say this disc is a corker and deserves its win.
