Yes, I guess a CD was once available, but it must be a lot better than that scratchy noise on YouTube.

It could be that these CDs will be available again shortly. The chap who runs Opera Depot does it as a sideline and I think he's busy with another project just now, and so not around to post CDs. I downloaded the Horst Stein Ring as an MP3 and it's really quite respectable (including a fabulous Siegfried in Jean Cox; the Gotterdammerung is really something!) The FLAC of the 1957 Knapperstbusch Ring is something else again.
