I certainly treasure Hiroshi Wakasugi's Arte Nova CD with the Saarbrucken RSO (often conducted by Skrowaczewski on the same label) of Bruckner's Second Symphony, given a pretty glowing review by RO in Gramophone - I prefer it to the recordings by Giulini, Karajan, Wand, Jochum (x2), Solti and Barenboim (x2) anyway...
There were many excellent ZTO/Zinman recordings on Arte Nova and Peter Maag’s recordings on Arts!

The RPO put out some good records on Tring - Raymond Leppard’s lovely Beethoven 9 and Frank Shipway’s outstanding Mahler 5 come to mind.

That series was really good, well-recorded and good value and the presentation was good. Vernon Handley Rachmaninov Sym2 - vg. I snapped many up when they first appeared. I seem to remember there was some controversy over some of the major companies frowning at their top conductors making recordings for this budget label.

I bought a Pilz CD in a charity shop this morning containing 4 works by Mozart, 2 of which were new to me - sets of variations K353 and 613.
