Memories Excellence / Memories Reverence labels

I've always found releases of live material from this "unofficial" label to be rather hit and miss - with sound ranging from OK if a little compressed to only just acceptable, albeit for some desirable/unusual material (Carlos Kleiber's Butterworth with the Chicago SO, anyone?).

However, against my better instincts I picked up some of their releases when in Japan (more Kleiber fils and Celibidache with the SKB) and the sounds are pretty good for this kind of release. Does anyone know if the label has moved upmarket?

By the way, if you see the release of Carlos Kleiber's famed VPO Heldenleben on this label, you should buy it, assuming you're not allergic to Richard Strauss, or fastish performances of his music. (You may know the story that Sony was due to release it officially but CK killed the release at the last moment. I understand it was broadcast in Japan which may be where the Memories Excellence release comes from.)
