PRESTO originally had the set listed as DAVID Oistrakh and only changed it it to Igor after I emailed them about it! At first I ignored it thinking it was yet another set of discs dedicated to David Oistrakh, most of which I'd be bound to have, but curiosity got the better of me.

A rare mistake in the PRESTO listings.

      Hi PG,
sadly, they've changed the title but the track listing still shows them all as David Oistrakh!

There are quite a few DG Duo recordings made with David and some interesting tracks that were also in David's repertoire, interesting to compare the Khatchaturian and Rakov for instance.
