I bought the Bach CD - a car boot bargain a few weeks ago, good!

From what everyone has said about the Nelsons Bruckner, 5 quid may be expensive....

It is the 1889 version but Christian Hoskins liked both it and No 4 in Gramophone -RO was decidedly less keen on the Seventh.

Finally got round to listening to the Batiashvili CD of the Tchaikovsky and Sibelius concertos . A stunning record and for once from Barenboim unlike some others an accompaniment that is not just neat but really interesting in both concertos . Superb performances especially of the Tchaikovsky .
