During the Tchaikovsky Experience we had recorded performances of both the original and revised versions of 'Winter Daydreams'. Which recording of each would members recommend?

Must confess I had forgotten about the two versions Nethersage!

Actually the question was a bit of a sly one. As far as I know, the only recording 0f the original version is that broadcast during the Tchaikovsky Experience, and that was specially done by the BBC's top orchestra under the baton of Ilan Volkov. It has not, I think, been rebroadcast. One for TtN perhaps. I have the DAB mp2 saved, but an HD Sound iPlayer option would be very welcome.

I've got the recording somewhere I must give it a listen. The other version played in the TE was PragueSO/Smetacek on Supraphon which was my first recording of this albeit on a mono LP.
I have sent a missive to LPO Records but I don't think it will make a lot of difference.
I received a reply from LPO to say the Jurowski Sym 2/3 will be released later this year but no plans for the Serenade for Strings and Francesca which are available on download!
