    I would say you have the essential points covered if you have those three. If you like Vickers (not everyone does, but I do) then you probably need the 1972 EMI Karajan set as well.

      I now have the 1991 EMI issue of the Reiner/Beecham hybrid. It includes an ERRATUM sticker on the back of the slip-case about Reiner's involvement and an additional slip inside the box. It took an age to arrive, having been posted in mid-February but only arriving last week!

      An initial listen reveals that Melchior was incredibly sloppy in Act 3.....
