With the release of the Quatuor Mosaïques recordings of the late quartets, only Op. 59/1 & 2, the string quartet arrangement of Op. 14/1, a few fragments and the revised finale of Op. 130 remain to be appear, though there is the Kujiken Quartet playing the Razumovsky quartets (and the Op. 29 quintet) on instruments beefed up to modern norms. Has anyone here heard whispers re. plans to record the missing items?

Yes, I think that op132 was probably the first in the genre - I bought it, and liked it a lot, as a student in the early 70s. There's a much more recent op.132 by the Swiss Quatuor Terpsycordes, coupled with op.18/6, on the Ambronay label, streamable on Qobuz.
And there's another op.130 (again with the GF, and without the second finale) by the Edding Quartet, on Phi (and also Qobuz). They're all principals of Orchestre des Champs-Elysées (the cellist is Mme Herreweghe): I really like this version. So far, I've only done a tiny bit of comparision with the new Mosaiques: Edding comes out ahead...

Also don't forget Quatuor Turner for the Op. 18s, 59/3 and 74, on Harmonia Mundi.... actually my favourite recording of the Op. 18 set.
The Terpsycordes's Op. 132 is wonderful, one of my preferred recordings, although I also have a lot of time for the new Mosaïques and the old Busch (and newish Belcea, in the same tradition). I'm not sure what I thought of the Op. 18/6 on the same CD. Evidently not as much.
I swear another youngish period instruments quartet (not the Chiaroscuro) also recorded Op. 95 recently but I can't remember their name now.
edit: the Windermere Quartet. I guess they're not that young, but they are recently formed, and Canadian for some reason.
