    Karajan Ring on Blu Ray

I wasn't able to listen to Record Review on Saturday 12 August, but wanted to listen to the review of the reissue of the Karajan recording of the Ring Cycle on Blu Ray audio disc. However, nearly a week later and this edition of Record Review is still not available on the I Player. Is it normal for editions of Record Review to take so long to appear?

Did anyone else listen to the programme, and what was the general feeling about this reissue?
"I do not approve of anything that tampers with natural ignorance. Ignorance is like a delicate exotic fruit; touch it and the bloom is gone. The whole theory of modern education is radically unsound. Fortunately in England, at any rate, education produces no effect whatsoever. If it did, it would prove a serious danger to the upper classes, and probably lead to acts of violence in Grosvenor Square."

It is curious - still showing "This Episode will be available soon" on the website!

There has been a Forum discussion of the poor presentation (last half-dozen posts here:

... but the ineptitude of the presentation overshadowed any comments that may have been made about the sound quality of the reissue.

      Thanks.

Perhaps they are trying to edit out the references to Val Kyrie Eleisons!
