So one post apart from the OP actually mentions Kirkpatrick, nobody else does. I really wanted to know from someone expert how suitable Kirpkpatrick's interpretations were seen to be. Am now none the wiser!!

Incidentally, the Goldberg thread was posted as Our Summer CD Review or something similar, so it has nothing to do with Draco’s opening post in his original thread. What’s going on?

I expect the title misled people since it was much more open ('Bach's Goldberg Variations', IIRC) and then mentioned a specific recording/interpreter you were interested in in the first post. Often people see the title and contribute based on that as opposed to the original post. In contrast, the title of this thread is much more specific!
