Like a lot of us, I spend a small fortune on music, almost exclusively from Amazon (with a smattering of downloads from Qobuz).
The keenest prices that I get are 99.9% found on Amazon.
I am very surprised what people are saying here.
I just did a few checks on Hive (had never heard of them before) and they are coming up at around 400% more expensive on purchases I’ve made at Amazon in the last fortnight.
Edit:
I bought Skrowaczewski’s complete Bruckner cycle for £31* direct from Amazon, Presto Classical are asking £54.
The Complete Skrowaczewski OEHMS recordings are £67.70 direct from Amazon, (or £49.95 Amazon market) Presto Classical are asking £89.
* Now gone up to £46, still £8 cheaper than Presto, for example.
