      Not posted here for a bit…

      Well, today is the the 4th of January and I suspect I’ve had my ‘bargain of the year!’

      Alfred Brendel. The complete Philips Recordings. 114 discs. £20! The bad news is that the box’s lid is missing but still, 17.5 pence a disc is pretty good?!

        Wow, that box wasn’t around long and so pleased to have got one. I must have paid nearly ten times that amount!

          I doubt that will be topped in the good fortune bargain stakes! - At that price you could accept a majority duplication figure! Now about that listening time!?!

                            20 Supraphon cds from the first edition of their catalogue. Lots of performances from The Czech Philharmonic under George Whitehead I’ve not come across before.
