After all the blasts about Oxfam's pricing, a small voice from the SW with a better experience. Perfect condition CD for £2.99 in Exeter Oxfam, CHAN 9805, German Wind Band Classics, RNCofM Wind Orch/ Reynish and Rundell - Hindemith, Toch, Schoenberg, Blacher & Hartmann. Not often you see one of those
Anyone else ever captured this disc in a charity shop???I keep hitting the Escape key, but I'm still here!

Actually, I should say that I've had a lot of great cds from Oxfam. I just wish there was so consistency in their pricing policy.

Popped into my local Oxfam this morning and picked up Mendelssohn's string symphonies vol. 4 on BIS. Lev Markiz with the New Sinfonietta, Amsterdam for 99p. Box in terrible state but inserts and disc fine. New plastic box and, voilà, good as new!
Also, Mr Peter Katin playing Schumann on Olympia for £2.99.

It must have fallen down the back somewhere.
