BBC Music Magazine Reviews - Access Denied!

I have always been able to access the BBC Music Magazine reviews online, but tonight I am being repeatedly told that my access is denied. Is this maybe because they have changed the rules for overseas readers, or has anybody else in the UK had the same problem of late?

Can you provide a link, and I'll have a go now (I live in France) and report back to you.

I read it and thought that, like me, you must be missing IRR. I'm afraid I have no experience of the BBC magazine; I think I saw the first copy, but that was enough. I've bought the latest Gramophone today - perhaps it's not so bad after all.

Never tried before, but on entering a search of reviews I also get 'Access denied' - You are not authorized to access this page.'.

Do you have to be a subscriber?

Yes. I can click to that link OK.

But if I put 'Bychkov' into the 'Search Reviews' box, I get 'No results' and if I put 'Shostakovich' into it I get 'Access Denied'.

No idea why this should be.

After my initial earlier joy, I now get exactly the same 'brick wall'

Seems like something has gone wrong at their end.....

Sorry to hear that you are all having problems, too...I thought that maybe it was just something at my end. Maybe the BBC is clamping down even harder.

Vodkadilc, I also bought Gramophone recently whilst in the UK and thought it had improved quite a bit. Maybe after five years I'll resubscribe again.

I agree, Richard, but it is just interesting to see other reviewers' impressions, particularly those of the likes of the admirable Nicholas Anderson.
