Ives: Three Places In New England

I realised after listening to the Prom that I do not have a recording of this piece. Lenny appears not to have recorded it . As it seems to have had good reviews I have ordered a secondhand copy of a CD with the BSO/MTT recording . Have I made the right choice Ives fans ?

It does indeed seem odd that there appears to be no Bernstein version, but I don't think you'll be disappointed with MTT.
I also have the Cleveland/Dohnanyi version, which is part of a Double Decca set of all four symphonies.

Thanks for the reminder: I have it in a bargain box called The American Collection. 13 CDs but no documentation, so often forgotten about.
