Really enjoying this morning's programme, particularly the Scandinavian choral music - also looking forward to the Shostakovich 1 as I have not hear this for a very long time and the Naxos CD is a potential birthday present

But isn't Schubert's D784 sonata a haunting piece... Wonderful playing. I have M J Pires playing it on CD but on re-listening her tempo is a little slow - the featured CD of the piece this morning was perfection, it sounded to me
