Is there a set on CD of these six Masses that people would recommend? I have the six on LP with Willcocks, which are wonderful. The CD issue of these seems now to be a larger set with all the Masses. This is a possibility, but I wonder if anyone has other recommendations?

Excellent soloists, too, who don't "interpret" the Music in such a way that draws attention to their "tremendous artistry"; instead, everything is focussed on presenting this glorious Music.Numquam Satis!

I agree with all the suggestions so far, and have collected most of them. I also have Bernstein on an MP3 collection - that may actually be the least successful of the ones I have, but it's still interesting. The Bruno Weil set is very good.
Pinnock is also good I think. Really I can't think of any that are really completely out of the running. Others must surely include Simon Preston (with Christopher Hogwood on organ) and JEG. Harnoncourt is perhaps one I can do without, though I like a lot of his other work.

Even cheaper chez the Germans -
... and the brilliant set has five discs, advertised as the complete Masses, whereas the more expensive vivarte set on four discs has the Last Six only

Much gnashing of teeth here - I spent a lot of time and money tracking down those deleted Weil discs, and now here they are available for 4 euros!!! (Bur presumably none of the original booklet notes, Vints?)
I would also agree with Dave about the few masses that Hogwood and Preston recorded - I think they must rank amongst my favourite discs ever from the Academy of Ancient Music. And now also available in a cheapish 2 CD set from Decca. Well worth acquiring.
