Well, for me, it's Igor Oistrakh's recording of the Tchaikovsky violin concerto with the USSR Symphony Philharmonic orchestra conducted by his father, David. On of the first records I ever heard and, IMHO, the best recording of this piece. Goodness knows, I've tried to trace it over the years but no joy.
