    I recently purchased that recording of Pictures, coupled with Borodin music. I remember disliking it as a teenager when I had the lp that coupled it with Richter's famous recording from a Bulgarian Tuberculosis Sanitorium. I now agree with Barbs, it's a stunner.

      Szell's Don Quixote is a real favourite of mine, the first version I got and it still hits the spot every time.
