    Help identifying CD tracks

I did a search for "delius to be sung summer" and this turned up on Amazon - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Englands-Gre...be+sung+summer

The obvious tracks shown on the cover are of little interest to me. There seems to be no mp3 version, so no track listing.

Does anyone have any idea what's on these CDs? For 24p this could be of interest - but I am looking for something specific, or at least in a specific area, so don't want to waste a lot of time and money on this.

Amazon really is poor at showing what is on some CDs. This is a big problem with online shopping, and also with some streaming and download sites. At least in a CD shop one could pick up the object and read the cover etc, and at the very least have a modest chance of getting recordings which correspond to the descriptions.

    Progress!

MusicBrainz is often a good bet. It doesn't know about this particular CD unfortunately.

Yes Musicbrainz or discogs.com although neither show this one.

I found a CD with the same title on the Italian amazon site but not sure if it's the same disc. Anywaythere's a picture of the back cover with tracklisting:

edit: removed pic so as not to confuse...

It's not. (I made the same mistake - but the pieces named on the cover of the disc in the OP aren't on this disc.)

If you google hmv classics england green pleasant land and go to the allegro.pl site entry that appears, you will find the contents listing.

Sorry, haven't yet learnt how to provide a link!

... and this is where it goes wrong - there is no "allegro.pl" site on my google list!

Sorry, haven't yet learnt how to provide a link!
If you right click on the http:// line at the very top of your computer screen when you're on the site, then click on "Copy", then right click again in the text of the message you're writing and click on "paste", one of those blue highlighted links appears on your message once it is posted. I don't know how this works (I suspect witchcraft) but it's jolly useful!

Not only Mimrod, but Istorum Anime too!

Thanks for advice, fhg; the FAQ suggest that you can't do much in the Post Quick Reply option, which was what I was using.
And I'm on my i-Pad too!
Don't know why the Allegro entry didn't appear for you, though; it must have for R64.

Glad to have been of service, R64.

PS: I doubt that you'll get the whole of the Elgar cello concerto!
Or all of Yeoman and Falstaff for that matter.

Care to shed some light on the original Delius item you were searching for?

R64: I assume that Dave2002 is primarily interested in track 18.

PS: Momentary lapse when I said I was glad to have been of service. I thought that you were the one searching, but got mixed up with your Rite request! I'm sure that Dave2002 will be grateful!

You can teach me Polish - I'll show you how to do the link. Looked like gobbledygook to me! Totally incomprehensible.

When you get to the correct page, select the link which appears at the top in your browser - that's CTRL-C in Windows - CMD-C in Mac OS X to copy it.

Now, navigate to the forum entry you want to put the link in - open up the reply, then type CTRL-V (Windows) - CMD-V (Mac OS X). That should drop the URL into the text input box, and the forum software should do the rest.

Make sure you don't do much else, between copying the link, and inserting into the dialogue box, as you may inadvertently copy something else along the way.

                            Dave:

I wonder if you scrolled down far enough.
The listing, which R64 must have copied and pasted, is after a fair bit of Polish (as much a mystery for me as for you, I fear).
I'll be brave enough to try to provide a link one day when I'm at my Mac rather than on my ipad, unless you have easy instructions to cut/copy from one of them too. Sorry, no Polish lesson given in return!
