Isn't there also a Decet for wind instruments by Enescu?

Stravinsky's Concertino is for 12 instruments and his Ragtime for 11 instruments. Several of Hindemith's Kammermusik are for 11 or 12 instrument combinations.

Janacek's Mladi is for wind sextet rather than septet: It's scored for flute doubling piccolo, oboe, clarinet, bass clarinet, horn and bassoon - so six players (although seven instruments with flute and piccolo).

Top Ten Decets would have to include Gabriel Faure.

            Faure????????????????

'Te decet hymnus' from the Requiem

            I'll get me coat.
I keep hitting the Escape key, but I'm still here!

It's a pity Bruckner didn't write one...Ant'n's Decet would probably prove very popular.

Which septet of composers and/or performers best match the following descriptions, I wonder?
                  Bashful
                  Doc
                  Dopey
                  Grumpy (Brahms?)
                  Happy
                  Sleepy
                  Sneezy (Kodaly [Hary Janos]?)

I only know Stravinsky! And that's devoid of any emotion. Roboty?

(Note. The neo classical period nearly starts with Octet and ends with Septet!)
