I've just finished listening to the 24/96 download and am very impressed. These two works have done well on disc over the years, and up to now I've sided with the 'love it or hate it' Zimerman/ Polish NO, which is once heard, never forgotten (take that both ways...). But sticking to 'normal' recordings, I would heartily recommend this new version, as much for the wonderful orchestral support as the superb pianism. Not sure what they didn't like about the recording (maybe a touch bass boomy?) - didn't spoil the experience for me anyway.

I listened to the First Concerto last night. I really liked the energy and sense of improvisation on display.
I was a bit dissapointed with the recording quality. Usually Linn SACDs are demonstration quality but this had a hazy and distant perspective, but itdid not seriously detract from a scintillating performance .
