I couldn't believe it when I turned on the radio this afternoon - early Polish plainsong! Had the Saturday EMS been resurrected?

Sadly no, but thanks to Roxanna Panufnik on what is still (half an hour in) an interesting selection.

I too heard and enjoyed the programme, Miss Panufnik chose unfamiliar (to me) music. How interesting it would be to hear from other composers' children, so often forgotten and overshadowed by their illustrious parent. If only Carice had been given a chance to do the same, as much for reminiscences as music.
