Thanks for the pointer. His 1999 Carnegie Hall recital is one of the most exciting Chopin discs I've encountered. And I know he's made a recording of the second concerto for solo piano, too. -
His Liszt transcriptions of Beethoven symphonies are a revelation and, to my mind, an essential purchase.Comment
