A delightful exchange

A delightful exchange took place at approx 1 hour 20 minutes in on tonight's In Tune between Sean Rafferty in the studio and Catherine Bott ("my dear") in Poole to introduce tonight's Performance on 3. I love these little exchanges in live radio - it really cheered me up on my way home. This was preceded by a couple of items from the youthful Julia Lezhneva, who's recent album "Alleluia" is currently number 2 in the Specialist Classical Chart. JEG was also on good form (at around 1 hour 50 minutes) - he seems to have a soft spot for Julia Lezhneva and went on to mention the "priestess from hell" who would not allow him to record in Salisbury Cathedral.

    All in all, excellent radio!

I would imagine that a confrontational exchange between JEG and the lady concerned would be worth paying the Salisbury Cathedral admission price to see....
