    New nicknames needed

What nicknames can members of the Forum suggest for some of the snippets that now seem to dominate the Breakfast 'show'?
I'm currently listening to a movement from Schubert's Piano Trio in E flat - The Truncated.
Rumour has it that moves are afoot to bring 'Erlkoenig' to a premature halt in order to prevent the death of the child - should it then be renamed (pace Wallace and Gromit) 'A Close Shave'?
Extracts from the last but one movement of the 'Pastoral' could be renamed 'Isolated Showers'.

The call was for "New nicknames", not superannuated ones.

      How about 'The Uncluttered'.

Can't stop your childish comments can you?

I had no idea that my contribution was an old one. You're not clever. And you won't put me off from posting.

Oh dear. How sad. Never mind.

"Uncluttered" was intended as a somewhat lame allusion to "uudslukkelige".

"Neilsen" with "indistiguishable" manages some 4,000 hits on Google, so well established is the 'joke'.

Sad? Posting put-downs is sad. Seems little has been learnt over the last few days in some quarters.

Jesus Blood Never Failed Me Yet could benefit from a radical truncation - how about 'Jesus' Blood Kept Me Alive For 27 minutes, which Sadly Was't Long Enough'.

This morning's "Speed your flippin' journey" from Nabucco could be zipped through in a fraction of the time if re-titled "Taxi for Hebrew".

Don't be a prat. Posts like your one is how all the negative stuff snowballs. Try to be helpful, rather than posting snipes.
