Enjoying today's Afternoon on 3. Although I've heard Appalachian Spring a few too many times on R3, Barber's Knoxville Summer of 1915 is always appreciated here at Bax Towers.
However I was somewhat surprised that Louise Fryer, an announcer I put in the first division of R3 personnel, admitted to never having heard of David Diamond before today.
How can that be one wonders? I'm no aficionado of American music but even I, a lowly listener, knew of his work. All somewhat worrying...
