I've been wanting to ask this for a while, even though it seems like a silly question. I listen to Radio 3 in the States thru Apple TV (ATV).
They offer two options: BBC Radio 3 High and BBC Radio 3 Low.
The music is the same on both. For example, at the present moment both are playing the third movement of Schubert's 5th Symphony.
What is the difference between the two? Does the High vs Low refer to the bit rate transmission? It doesn't seem to be, because if anything "Low" sounds better than "high" to my ears. Can someone please enlighten a poor Continental?
