Looks a bit more grown up in the schedules photo, and I think it's the same person.
Draco, no anonymous baroque today, screeds or otherwise, and I wouldn't say that it is major part of a typical EC day's output.

Must be the Blue Peter influence or the glasses...
Here are the EC & Essay images for comparison (the Messiaen Essay is from 2018).

Could be just my cup of tea - but I'm afraid I rarely sample EC or Breakfast these days.

I think it's the studio lighting that makes his face look thinner, and less 'baby-faced'. I've superimposed the Twitter photo on the studio one and they are a biometric fit!
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

He certainly looks young but is well-informed about music, has an engaging voice and I like his presentation style, altogether an excellent addition to the presentation roster.

On essential Classics the theme tune from the 1960s TV series 'Batman' has just been played. It only lasts less than minute but it’s a curious choice! There was even a 'kapow!' from the presenter.

It was in a sequence of bat related music.

If Doc Walker had been presenting, I feel sure she would have included something from Live Batts!!

                    Say:

Ignore the references to Gavin Bryrs, and co. They had niothing directly to do with Live Batts!!

                      I see. Well … I don't like to offend.

Depends on who you're batting for, I suppose...
