Going to save themselves a few bob on expenses.
It's great to be introduced to some TV presenters' insides at the moment - it offers a window into their humble lifestyles!

There is a photo on Facebook of Skellers at home today. He's not propped up in bed but does appear to be surrounded by duvets...

Just had one of those 'stop you in your tracks' moments - Andreas Scholl singing Cum dederit delectis from Vivaldi's Nisi Dominus. Impossible to do anything other than listen, and thank heavens Ian Skelly knows to observe the R3 pause after such an item. I will have to look up what the words mean, but frankly he could have been singing nonsense, my reaction was to the voice and the harmonies.

Last time they played it, a few months ago, I put my order in immediately. So perfect, it’s strange it’s not better known.

I'm a new listener, and really like the atmosphere Skellers creates, and the sense of a community* he creates. Refreshing absence of warhorses, too.

*(He had another word for it...)

He and a certain other person normally alternate in this slot, but he's standing in for her 'cos she's been struck down with the lurgy. I think he likes to come across as something of a subversive, which can only be a good thing IMHO.

He is always very aware of his audience cloughers
