Just a request/suggestion - in case MI5 happens to encounter the Forum: can we avoid referring to Ian Skelly as "IS" - particularly when followed by comments such as "is one of the best things about R3".

And even more so in the context of comments linking him with the Prince of Wales.

As a regular reader of Private Eye I'm alarmed at the prospect of Skellers replacing Sir Alan Fitztightly....

How long before an Essential Classics compilation of Bleeding Chunks storms the Classical Charts under the title of ‘Best Skellers’ or maybe we’ll have a flop entitled ‘DeKlein and Fall’.

The nearest is to "Reply with Quote", edit leaving in the bit you like and finish (this is : ok : with no spaces).
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

But does Talk Classical have a thread entitled Anyone with a septic tank?

I would be septical about that...

                      (I'll just get me drainpipes)

No. The best they can do are:

                        Sick Call and Misery thread
                        Your Hairstyle
                        What Are You Drinking?
Stupidest Jokes, Must Be Short and Seemly

Plus the sheer joy of ‘Incurable Misspellings’ (includes grammar)

Proving Americans do have a sense of humour after all.

I don't see why. I get confused with Elizabeth Alken and the Environment Agency.
