"former drummer of The Police", sounds like some kind of civil unrest.

Today's "brain-teaser" the Air Force 1 music from "Nixon in China" was rather spoilt by the heavy hints given by "me, Sarah Walker".
But I thought it was the height of discourtesy not to have followed the dance sequence from the same opera with an apology, following the long dropout - presumably a broadcasting error.

Today, Rob and his dancing guest were talking about a performance or Prokofiev's ballet Romeo & Juliet at the O2 Arena. They were both trying to appear "cool"' by saying it was OK for many of the audience to be wandering around, drinking and generally being inattentive and potentially distracting. The justification was to hark back to the 18th century when musak was composed by Mozart et al for this very purpose. This is facile logic. Unlike certain divertimenti, the ballet in question was not composed for background chat. But I suppose it all fits with R3's inadequate agenda.

HARRIET HAVARD
For at least a week now, neither EC or Breakfast have played Variations on a Theme by ......I'm beginning to suffer withdrawal symptoms. Do you think they have worn out all the versions? Surely they must have a least one left somewhere. The bagpipe version maybe!

I turned on just in time to hear that they had had a lot of very interesting guesses as to the mode of transport and I could still have a go. I switched off again when SW started to read her lists.
At least we no longer have to suffer the Sara/Sarah handover
