is that question rhetorical or are you unable to use Google? (a third possibility that you are merely trolling I'll consider at moment non-proven)

I don't necassarily object to emails per se, it's the number that are read out. Occasionally Breakfast or In Tune will be contacted by a musician or person in the biz who can shed an interesting light on a particular matter - these are occasionally read out. The one time I have emailed Morning on 3 and the two times Breakfast I have had constructive responses from the presenter concerned, but they were not read out.

I once had an email read out I was appalled at the sheer awfulness of some music being played on "In Tune" and expressed my (purely subjective) opinion fairly colourfully. Blow me if it wasn't read out by Sean Rafferty, my name and all. He gave what I think was a sigh and said "Oh dear me". Presumably that was to indicate that I was a Philistine beyond redemption, but it was wasted. The item (my comment, not the music) was, however, very smoothly edited out of iPlayer so my moment of glory or notoriety was lost. It seems, then, that even criticism which they think they can rebut is hidden pdq

A bit like the famous Naughtie slip regarding the Secretary of State for Culture...

                    Almost certainly.

They take a group of members of the public (probably from the regional 'Audience Councils'), the majority of whom never listen to Radio 3. They invite them to listen to programmes which they've never listened to before because they aren't particularly interested in classical music. They ask the members what they think about the programmes. Then perhaps they make suggestions as to how they can make the programmes more accessible and the presentation more welcoming. And the members say, Yes, that would make the programmes more accessible. We might listen to the programmes if they were more like that.

But that wouldn't be regarded by most people as constituting 'a demand'.

I imagine of the recent Trust reviews, only for Radio 3's did they ask people (definitely Audience Councils on this occasion) who weren't listeners what they thought of the station and then disregarded the views of people who were listeners. In this way they gained support for management's proposals to take Radio 3 downmarket.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

No, I realise that , but that was also edited from i-player. Luckily (for those who missed it) I think someone put it on You Tube.

Here is a text-in or a Twitter from this morning's show. "I first felt my baby kick to Bach." Clearly the programme is regressing to the ante-natal. Does CBH need CBT...or maybe ECT...very high voltage?

I had high hopes initially of CBH, but am disappointed that so intelligent and musically well-educated a presenter has to patronise us by telling us what to think of the performances she plays, often both before and after. Clearly she has been instructed to do so.

Somebody tweeted in: "Liszt rocks my world, especially the Piano Concerto No. 1". Good to know, I'm happy for them.
Anybody care to guess which of the "Chants d'Auvergne" CB-H played?

Was it the one that goes 'Bolero-lero-lero'?
