It's just as well you won't be doing it then.

I'm beginning to find your posts ever so slightly personally insulting. I've defended you from the attacks of other people but you really do deserve everything you get.

If you don't stop, I'll report you to a moderator...
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

        "ever so slightly"
        ?

How very adept are we British at the gentle art of understatement..!

I should think so. These moderators have a lot to answer for.

I was 100% posting in good faith by recommending that you avoid debating RW live, and tried my best to explain why. If I were being malicious, I would have tried to encourage you.

                  We're parting company.

It was not a post in good faith to say that if I were to appear live with Roger Wright (not something which I have tried to avoid) my performance against him would have been 'hilarious'.

Your main interest in the UK is the Proms, not Radio 3. The Proms are over until next year - and so is your membership. Come back next July.

                        Caveatina,
You should know that both parties are too civilised to indulge in any attempt at hilarious humiliation.

What's the point of putting somebody an on 'ignore' list if I can still read his (or her) messages when they're quoted by somebody else?
                          EDIT:
This question has now, it appears, become academic, but I'd still be interested in the answer. Please include me among those wishing to congratulate you - not just for your decision, but also for your admirable earlier forebearance.

ff, you have reached the point I got to yesterday and I commend your action.

I have to express concern at this move. Unless a poster is aggressively offensive in their language , or persistently goes off-topic, then I can see no justification for cancelling their membership of this forum. There are many posters and many threads who and which respectively have little or nothing to say about or do with Radio 3's output, to a far greater extent than this poster. I hope this action will be reconsidered.
