      I'm sure it is possible to 'strum' a mandolin. My point was that the Bach Partita which was played was about as far away from 'strumming' as you could possibly get! I also have no personal dislike for Georgia Mann. I just wish R3 presenters didn't have to try so hard to be chummy. Chummy strummy in this case. Nothing wrong with a little subtle humour, but subtlety seems in short supply these days.
