Who will become Petroc’s back-up on Breakfast - maybe Lizzie? though he tends to do it on a 3:1 ratio rather than 50/50.

A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

I think that, probably, Georgia Mann is better suited to the EC style than Ian Skelly. Before he got the EC posting Ian stood out as a very good presenter of concerts with the 'subversive' style that we like. It'll be good to have him presenting the afternoon concerts and hopefully he'll still be able to get in his quips.
I must admit, though, to not being a regular EC listener and appreciate that some of you will miss IS on the programme (show?) I tend to listen to R3 more in the afternoons. Good, too, that Petroc's staying in the Breakfast slot, it's a bit of a disappointment for me when GM's in the presenting chair.

I wonder if any of those included in this reshuffle actually requested a change? And even if someone did, was this the best/only way to accommodate that request?
Taken together with the recent assault on TTN it does rather smack of a perverse take on "If it ain't broke...", whereby management sees something working/being liked by listeners and fiddles with it, to the benefit of no-one and the detriment of the target of the interference.
