We can hope but I suspect they'll try again. The mess they're making of Afternoon Concert suggests the wrecking mode is still switched on at HQ.
They keep moving the goalposts to tantalise us! It's now the 23/10/2021 TTN that starts at 3am and is 4 hours long.
It's still a treat to have TTN back to full length.

Own up AuntDaisy you’re missing it - even if it’s just you need it to kick against!

Maybe I should start a new thread "Upselling muzak - how naff can it get" but suspect that, like my previous upselling thread will run foul of the PC expressed by certain posters.

It's not to my taste, but it must suit some...
If Alan Davey is honest about wanting to help youngsters with mood-music, then, I'm happy saying that R3 is not the right station & TTN definitely not the slot.
Ideally these streamed programmes wouldn't need to eat in to Through the Night and would just appear on Sounds for those that want them.

                  This is alarming.

Whilst sympathising with your plight, I really hope it won't be necessary.

(And a related hope is that the 7-9 a.m. slot with be cleaned up too.)

Is it usual for there to be no schedules published for 3 weeks ahead? I'm sure I've looked before for something that far ahead and not found a void.
BTW re: 7am to 9am slot, as I remarked recently be careful what you wish for - you might think the current set-up poor but I am certain those in charge can make it a whole lot worse. After all they don't seem bothered about losing the audience they still have so long as some tick boxes for irrelevant and inappropriate aims can be filled.

The mediacentre programme info is showing nothing for 16th-23rd either at the momemt. It doesn't seem to be a priority to announce what their future intentions are, so I presume the next thing is they won't tell anyone what they've just broadcast either.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

                            O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!
Tearjerker is back, starting 23/10/2021 & the following Saturday.
Now, what are the chances these are repeats?

Sadly I think the chances of the dumbtime return being repeats are very high - especially if they aren't trumpeting them being new episodes.

That's what I thought as well.

I'm tempted to repeat Mrs Cornford again; esp. as old chubby chops' Drama on 3 is now being listed.
(For comparison, the 1990 production was almost 4 hours in total with an all-star cast.)
