I meant 'with it', of course.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Of course they are real. How could you doubt it? I have not used one, but have heard one played, though not an Akai model but a Roland, on that occasion.

Very curious. Thanks for confirming. I suppose the Ableton thing really was a spoof - or was that also real? I did follow that up, and there seem to be sound files, though not terribly interesting ones. The video was odd too. I suppose it showed how an electronic instrument might be used to attract electronic rats *** !

*** The NT has at least one of these robotic creatures, as used in performances of London Assurance a few years ago. Great fun.

When I see a date like 1978 i lose 10 years at first - ah yes 31 Years Ago !

Street Cred/Credibility. Mostly use by mid/late first wave punks and reggae fans of the time.

In my late 30s then, I remember being so proud at knowing what it meant!

                              Is that a euphemism, Lez?
