I have never heard such nonsense as IS read out listeners' tweets following the performance of the last movement of Haydn's "Bear" Symphony. Haven't people anything better to do than to pretend to be amusing? It's absolutely pathetic!

The thing about tweeting is, of course, that the tweeter is sharing her/his views with those who follow him/her, and with anyone who may follow #radiothree. So it is not wholly unlike this forum....
I have a twitter account, which I have stopped using (see wristwatches thread #35). Twitter is another way of wasting time.
