Well what a wonderful day today has been: Light and summery; nothing well known (to these ears at least); nothing 'popular'; nothing repetetive; long pieces with little in the way of presenter interference. Again, i've no idea what the pieces were, and i've no need to. Very little indeed to offend these precious ears of mine..

I keep returning here to balance out the Eternal Breakfast Debate. Right now i am enjoying some extensive passages of sacred choral works on R3. I think we had something similar yesterday. All entirely palatable and right up my street. Well done again.

that is COTW and one of the few remaining preRW programmes- its slot is not guaranteed remember at one time it was felt suitable for 9am then moved to its 12noon slot from which I suspect it will soon move - looks as tho its repeat slot will go

yes the only positive things left on R3 are those as yet untouched by RW (or as in case of live concerts reinstated after abject failure of his previous schemes)
