Brilliant, both programmes. People should watch The Lady In The Van, whose unexpected ending I shall not spoil any budding viewers by describing. I hadn't realised there is a blue plaque commemorating Mary/Margaret on AB's house. Perhaps there isn't! - I visit that district from time to time for jazz which takes place at the Princess of Wales, just around the corner, and must remember to check next time.

If I heard correctly at the end of today's programme ,there is to be no PP next Sunday, 1st Jan, but the AB Private Passions will be repeated on 8 January 2017. Noted in diary.

Also pleased that an overnight transfer of the AB Diaries and Lady in the Van has made their transfer to DVD. I lived in NW1 during my thesp years in the 70's and would casually greet two of the Beyond the Fringe trio in Camden High Street, or the Parkway street market. Last night's programmes stirred many happy memories of so many personalities.

So which of the quartet do you not see as part of the gang?

Erm...counting on my fingers it must have been Dudley Moore or Peter Cook!
