TtN: This programme will be available shortly after broadcast

Just noticed that for the coming week Through the Night's listing is absent, with the comment This programme will be available shortly after broadcast.

Now for me hardly a reason left to listen to R3 (as I detest computer listening and hence iPlayer).

I fear that to find out, you will have to spend those £2 on next week's RT, which does include them.

You may have to adjust for date and time but http://www3.ebu.ch/about/radio/nottu...644A7DBA143DDE is a good source for TtN playlists.

These playlists are certainly helpful, but then you still need to know which date they are broadcast as TtN.....

Which makes it even more straightforwardly stupid and insane not to include the TtN contents at the R3 website.

Surely the only differences are that the Euroclassic Notturno listings use the actual date of broadcast, whereas the Radio 3 schedule uses the date of the evening preceding the broadcast and that of the date of broadcast (depending on whether you look at the end or start of the day), and that there is sometimes a time-shift of 30 minutes to an hour.

Not in advance, please compare TtN listing of sunday October 4th with the EBU-listing of the same date., From the latter the first 2 hours are swapped by TtN, making the value of the EBU listing for life listening worth next to nothing I'm afraid.

This feels like the last straw. I rarely listen to the programme live but I enjoy looking at forthcoming TTN playlist and it is one of a very few occasions I think of Radio3 as a radio station. Besides, I really dislike the look of Music Played list. The plain playlist published prior to the broadcast was one of the best things Radio3 still offered me. Ah well.

I refused to pay over £100 a year just to look at one column every week and accumulate more waste paper while the BBC constantly tells us how excellent its website is.

I'm sorry but I can't see what the problem is - the playlists appear AFAICS for the coming week and up to the day for which schedules are available, Oct 12. The playlist is revealed by clicking on the "Show more", for instance on Friday 9 October:

Jonathan Swain's selection includes a concert given by the Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra

                  Or am I missing something?

Yes. The playlists were not available yesterday.

So presumably there was some delay in getting next week's playlists for TtN on the website, but at least they are up there before the end of this week so no great damage done.

                        Thank you for the link.

I think we are (I am) oversensitive these days about what R3 might be getting rid of to suit the management etc. I was staring at the blank web pages and feeling terribly gloomy this morning. Now very much cheered up. Hurray‼

The BBC must have placed the TtN listings very recently, as last night around midnight they still weren't there.
Anyway, great to see them (re-)emerge
