    Sunday Evening Concert

First of Ian Skelly’s Sunday evening programme. I was originally disappointed that this wasn’t going to be a concert broadcast but as it was, this was a collection of live recordings and as such, Ian Skelly’s presentation made it much more enjoyable than I had expected. He promised that the programme would include unfamiliar as well as familiar works so I look forward to the future programmes.
Debussy's Preludes (Book 1) performed by Nelson Goerner, plus Chausson's Piano Trio.

Up to a point, ds, but for me the problem remains that it is another concert programme on R3 that is not really a concert but an amalgam of pieces from different concerts. Would it really not have been possible for R3 to broadcast the whole of the Currentzis/Musicaeterna concert for example? Having these extracts from complete concerts simply tantalises the listener for the full concert.

Yes, it would be good to have a whole concert for each programme but I wonder if there is a copyrights issue when it comes to broadcasting a concert as it is.

Just listening to, and enjoying, the programme now - it seems it is not available for download? More copyright issues?
