Are we sure the Squire is going to do it this time …????? … he seems very comfortable broadcasting from his bed in Cornwall and I haven’t heard him mention the planned move ……

No, Radio 3 has retuned itself to Radio 2. alternating with Classic FM. The presenters have been told to be shouty on Friday Night Is Music Night beause they interact with the audience. Sarah Walker was too.

welcome Cynthia (?) from Berkshire . There is an interminable thread FNIMN if you can face it. Don’t mention Spitfires.

Fallout from Sam Jackson's April Fool/R3 refresh exercise last year...

What happened to Andrew Green. I was a regular listener to the breakfast programme when he presented but had to stop when PT arrived on the scene. Even worse that Rafferty but might ditch Radio 4 first thing is the programme has improved.

Or something. Humphrey's Listener's Choice was dropped and succeeded by Brian Kay's Three for All, with the succession of presenters ending with Chi Chi Nwanoku's Radio 3 Requests. And much as they went, Sean went too. CCN probably had better things to go on to but Humphrey moved to R4 and Brian, probably, also did R2?

Thanks I see . It’s April then . The new financial year. And Breakfast moving to Salford - a big relocation and not everyone will wish to go. Having done the South West to North West epic voyage a few times I don’t blame PT for not giving it a try . Just getting to Salford from Manchester airport is a nightmare.

    Interesting history, thanks FF.
To lose one In Tune presenter may be regarded as a misfortune, to lose two looks like carelessness.

P.S. I'm hoping Martin Handley will become a/the regular In Tuner.

    You're right.
In Tune had Sarah Walker last week, Martin Handley this week, then Katy D back for a bit, Sarah Walker 7-9th March, then Ian Skelly 10-14 March (if the pictures are to be believed). 15th March onwards... my money's on Basil Brush.
